This is a performance / installation. The Shadows are cutouts (intimations on the earth) in homespun cloth of 29 members of the Art Karavan who later assembled on the Ridge near the golden Gandhi statue in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh and climbed atop their shadows for a few minutes during the performance. After the short meditation on our shadows, I then gathered the strings attached and walked away with my memories of each till the Gaiety Arts Theater's open air ampitheater. The shadows were then assembled onto 2 large panels of koda cloth(muslin) and exhibited from 14/4/10 - 18/4/10 at Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi. http://www.artslant.com/ind/
